With play in the SSYL on Saturday mornings home and away.

Holiday Football Camps - May Half Term

We have decided to make the samba / futsal camp event on Wednesday 10am - 12pm a free event as a taster for the planned regular sessions.  Please share this with your teams and encourage them to come along to get a taste of this and Chris will explain on the day how the regular sessions are expected to work.

We still have some space on the holiday camp event on Tuesday - please remind your teams in case there are any late takers.

The Wednesday 9am minicamp has been cancelled due to low numbers

 Managers and some parents now have the Jackets with the club logo/badge on them (shown above), anyone interested should contact/see Paul, Andy or Peter for more details on product and prices. 

GKIcon Goalkeeping Academy

We are very lucky that the club has a specialist goalkeeping coach, Andy Bayford our U8s assistant manager.

Our club race night raised just over £2,000 which is a great result and a massive support for the Club – it will help us with setting up new teams for next season and replacing some of our equipment, especially our older goal posts. We would like to say thank you to everyone that came and to our sponsors for the night who gave the prizes, particularly Nigel Smith of Garrick Flooring who presented the prizes to our winners.  Special thanks to Jason Logan and his team for arranging this year’s event. Allan Murley, our Vice Chair, did a great job as MC for the night. The only sure bet on the night was that it was going to snow….seems like a regular feature of our Race Nights. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year, especially if you could not make it this year.

On home games we run a small tuck shop, with Julie and helpers providing Hot Tea & Coffee with cold drinks and sweets plus home made cakes made by some of the players Mothers, all funds raised going towards an end of season do/party for the players, thanks for your continued support of this venture.
